Helping survivors find a life of peace, dignity and freedom from domestic violence
WHAT WE DO
Fundación Triunfadora is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence to lead lives of autonomy, dignity, and freedom in the Santa Elena Province of Ecuador.
We work with other community organizations to coordinate services and resources available to survivors of domestic and gender-based violence, with the goal of providing an alternative to abuse.
Alliances with other organizations in the community to maximize our impact

THE FACTS
Did you know...
In Ecuador, approximately 6 in 10 women suffer from some form of gender-based violence.
86% of femicide cases in Ecuador report the aggressor to have a close relational bond with the survivor.
1075 femicides since 2014 in Ecuador.
One femicide occurs every
54 hours.
Boys who witness domestic violence are twice as likely to replicate abusing their partners and children when they become adults.
Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to the police.

Domestic Violence is not a woman’s issue,
it's a human issue. It affects us all.
Changing deeply-ingrained gender-based beliefs won’t happen overnight, but through persistence in building community and educating on the issue, we make progress.
Join us in the fight to triumph over fear and
give hope to survivors of gender-based domestic violence.
